Hello my peeps!  I hope you’ve had a pleasant day.  Here’s a list of things I’m doing currently:

Bringing ~ my daughter Hayley back home from Ohio, having completed her junior year of college.

Wondering ~ where did the year go?!? It seems like just yesterday we were walking her through Office Depot looking for a bookshelf for her dorm room. (Actually, it was August.)
Chuckling ~ about the time her sister and I visited her and laughed so hard we cried that night in the hotel room.

Wishing ~ I could turn back time and be her mom all over again from the beginning. (As well as my other 3 – oh how I wish!)
Hoping ~ the month of May drags by before she goes on summer tour with her HeartSong team (a ministry of Cedarville University).

Knowing ~ that it won’t.
Dreaming ~ about her future.
Praying ~ for her safety as she drives home behind us.
Listening ~ to her sing “Great is Thy Faithfulness” from the latest HeartSong CD.

Feeling ~ like I don’t have it in me to let another kid go off on their own.
Realizing ~ we have to stuff all her belongings from our two vehicles into her room when we get home after the day long journey to school and back.
Cringing ~ at that thought.
Watching ~ the storm clouds roll in. It will probably be raining by the time we unload. (It was.)
Thanking ~ the good Lord for this year of learning for my dear girl. For all the experiences that have both exhilarated and drained her, and yet brought her closer to her Savior.
Resting ~ in the fact that God loves her more than I do, and that He has a plan for her.

What are you currently doing?  Anything fun or heart stirring?
